The Committee on European Integration recommends that the Parliament should ratify the Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union on amendment of the Agreement between Ukraine and the European Community on visa process simplification

The Agreement extends the categories of Ukrainian citizens entitled to simplified procedure of free multi visas (representatives of NGOs, religious communities, professional unions; participants of official EU programs of transborder cooperation); improves the procedure of visa issue for mass media representatives; determines clear timeframes for multi visas; determines the possibility of urgent visa issue (within 3 days); as well as cancels visa regimes for persons possessing special passports upon entering biometric data.

Members of the Committee stressed that ratification of the Agreement would provide for further simplification of visa regime for Ukrainians.

The respective bill was registered under No. 0287.
